realy explain about the subject

It helped me understand math more better.

Well she gave us appropriate homework but the amount of homework she gave was way too much.

I like her method to do review on the sheet and willing help to feedback with the exams after graded the exams.

I really like that fact that we had majority of our class time to do our work and therefore if we neede any help she was right there to help. She is a very understanding teacher who effectively explains herself and shows us in ways were its easier for us to understand. She always took the time to re0-explain if neccessary.

I liked how she gave us extra time for help with her when I'm struggling with a problem or a lesson.

I enjoyed every activities that happens in this class. The teacher knows exactly what shes doing and im proud to be in this class.

14. Any suggestions to improve this course?

For a lot of us MATH is something we struggle with, for others it comes very easy. Mrs. Scarpinato is a mathematician we are not. A lot of the times what she was teaching seemed very easy to her, and she expected us to catch on the way she did. I believe she should have been a lot more understanding to our learning disabilities in MATH and not expect us to have her brain, but to know that we all have our own brains and learn @ different levels.

I recommend this class for anyone that is struggling in math, they should sign up for her class because shes very funny and a great teacher.

The University should have more teachers like Mrs. Scarpinato. She made sure you understood the math course. I lost my dad on Thanks Giving, she was understanding and very supportive. I enjoyed the pace of this course. It was a two day a week class so I appreciated the amount of homework given. I felt like the coursework was set at a good pace. The assignments given out related to the content in which Professor Scarpinato was teaching at the time.

I would suggest to give students a problem set in the beginning of class sessions each day on what we previously learned the day before. This gives us a chance to challenge our minds to see if we have made the steps correctly to carry out a problem.

I had a very hard time in this class because when I would ask for help she would yell and embarass me in front of the class.. At one time she called me in front and because I didnt know the answer she snatched my paper from my hand and asked whats your major?.. She then made a terrible comment in front of the class... I hated coming to her class. My classmate told her she yells alot. I hated being embarassed, and it made it very hard for me to complete my assignments and come to class. This is how I felt everyday!

She is a good math teacher i got the math down fast. assingments was easy to know even if not in class syllybus was very helpful.

Everything. Learning this course is hard but misses Scarpinato made it easier for us to learn and to enjoy Math.
