23. Which aspects of the course did you like the best?
The aspects which i liked best was the way to approach certain situations and to think out for a moment before reacting to problems. This is a speech class and it will help you with your speaking skills with another person. Plain and simple.
I like the fact she made me comfortable especially when we had to speak in front of the class.
I liked the different speeches I had to perform in the class. I liked that my speaking skills got better as the course progressed. I liked the classroom was a safe environment for everyone.
The speeches were exciting and fun to accomplish.
I liked that everything was organized from the first day of class; including the due dates for all assignments. I also liked how our professor prepared and helped us for the different types of speeches.

the informative speech was the best because i like to inform people, better than persuavive them. It is a great class for any who loves speaking in public.

The instructor was very pleasant and did a good job to make the course material relevant and interesting. I appreciated that she took time to show us the tools to do a correct citation for the reports and arranged for a library tour.
The things that I liked the best were the fact that we got to do group work with the other people in the class.
The instructor was very good and spoke clearly. She described the course well. She also had us practice speaking in front of the class which allowed us to practice our impromptu speaking skills.
The way Ms. Dias went about her teachings. Very organized and to the point.
I like how prepared Ms. Dias is every class and makes a point to have an outline due ahead of time. I also like that she is willing to review outlines prior to the deadline to make changes, if needed.
I truly liked the way she talked to the class - no pressure, made it enjoyable. She was very understanding and knowledgeable of certain situations and helped us to clearly understand the expectations and sincerely helped our class in our path of success. I liked how she intertwined her personal experiences with the subject at hand, which appealed her "humaness" to me. She made us feel valuable as human beings as well as students who are learning! She is one of those RARE teachers that you hardly get to be blessed with in college.
The feeling of safety inside the classroom. the encouragement and evaluations.
Ms. Dias made the challenging and fun at the same time. I was very comfortable and I felt welcome. She's a sensitive and caring professor.

I liked the informative speeches, because I learned a whole lot from hearing the these speeches. Like Colt Brennan, Organic food, making a dump cake, etc.
The oral aspect is the best because it helps us as students learn how to speak in front of an audience of your peers.

i like all the speeches that everyone gave it was very interesting.
i really like the fact that we used class discussions and had help with our speeches and powerpoints. and that she was always willing to help when we needed it. and i also liked how we used the book but we jumped chapters when we needed to.
the aspect of the course that i liked the best was being able to speak infront of the class. i felt like i was getting comfortable with the class mates and being able to speak infront of the class.

24. Which aspects of the course did you like least?
I did not like the researching of a topic because it was hard to find a good topic and also to find a topic with good resources.
Sometimes she would be moody or mean and would sound harsh.
I didn't like where we were partnered up in groups by gender leadership. For example, the ladies had to pick the group where we could have drawn numbers and be grouped that way. I hate that some students are slackers and don't do any work.

The students themselves were somewhat disorganized at times. I suppose this cannot be helped as majority of the students seemed to be either first-year college students or Running Start students.
I really didn't like doing the test but we have to do it to pass the class.
None, I think it was okay. Expect having a member of our group for the group presentation who didn't show up most of the semester.
This was actually one of my favorite classes, so there was nothing I didn't like.

It's a good class. It helps you in many ways.
My overall evaluation of this course is good because I learned many different techniques to over come my fear of speaking in front of an audiences.
The course was very good, very fun, and worth taking the class. Also the instructor was good and the speeches were fun to do.
Its a great introductory course
This a very good and helpful course for those, like me, who have trouble speaking in front of large groups, and have never really given any speeches before.
This class was fun and now I've required some skills and confidence to talk in front of people.

I was afraid to open up and talk the instructor, she has a way of making me feel stupid if my questions seem to obvious even though I absolutely clueless about my question being asked.
More students would be better.
