13. What did you like about this course, such as activities, projects, assignments, etc.?

| This course was fantastic in every way. Tia managed to give us a thorough and
detailed overview of so many aspects and levels of art and art appreciation
that I was truly amazed. And somehow she did this without overwhelming us.
Her instructions were clear and she excelled in giving each student as much
personal attention as was needed. She balanced emphasizing key tenets of art
with how PERSONAL art work is. Tia was always inspiring us to recognize our
own artistic abilities and endeavors. |

| The only glitch in this course occurred in the beginning; there was some
confusion as to what course number we had enrolled in and who the instructor
was supposed to be. However, she quickly straightened it out and made
allowances for our confusion. |

| The technical understanding of art in all its forms will serve me in so many
ways. The course also gave me a deeper knowledge of the HISTORY of art, its
various transitions and its evolution. As an amateur artist, this course was
invaluable. |
