PREPARING & SUBMITTING A MANUSCRIPT

When preparing a manuscript for submission to Educational Perspectives, the following specifications should be followed:

  • Length of manuscript 3,000 to 3,500 words.
  • Manuscript should be typewritten, double-spaced.
  • Manuscript should be submitted using two formats: 1) a computer program which can be converted into a MacIntosh Pagemaker 6.5 and above application; and 2) one xeroxed copy.
  • Manuscript should be documented and Chicago Manual of Style should be followed; footnotes and bibliography included where needed.
  • Subheads are desirable.
  • Suitable visual material (photographs should accompany the manuscript and should be high contrast, black and white, glossy prints, 8"x10" or contact sheets with negatives. Colored slides, 2"x2" may be requested for use as front cover).
  • A brief biographical sketch of manuscript's author(s).
  • Reworked speeches are acceptable. Reprints from other publications are not used.
