My
general areas of interest are rare and threatened
species conservation, alien species management, and
ecosystem restoration, all focused on Hawaii and
Pacific Islands. My specific interests include the
conservation biology of the Hawaiian silversword
alliance,
ecology and restoration of Hawaiian bog plant communities,
and the vegetation of Belau (Palau), Micronesia.
