- revised 5/22/04 -

Please carefully follow the instructions for discarding animal carcasses and tissues for disposal. Your cooperation is essential in order to comply with federal, state and local regulations for disposal of animal wastes. Future problems involving noncompliance for disposal of animal carcasses or tissues may force LAS to discontinue this service to the University. These services only apply to carcasses and tissues that are generated by the University of Hawaii. If you desire to dispose of your deceased personal pets please contact the Humane Society or your local veterinarian. Departments outside of LAS are encouraged to set up their own disposal accounts with Red Bag 3, by calling, Stuart Kimura, at 722-7435.
