About the UHM Library Business Collections
The collection reflects the focus of the Shidler College of Business to prepare students for careers in a global/international and multicultural business arena with special emphasis on Hawaii, the Pacific and Asia.
At present our business collection has over 200,000 books and 3,000 serial titles in the primary Library of Congress economics and business call numbers HB-HJ including holdings in the Asia and Hawaiian and Pacific Collections. This core is supplemented by books on computer and information sciences, technology, production management and hotel and restaurant operations that are part of Hamilton Library's Science and Technology Department; government demographic and business reports in our Government Documents Collection; and video materials in the Wong Audio-Visual Collection.
