About the Environmental Studies Collection

Environmental Studies covers a broad area, focusing on either social or natural/physical sciences involving both public and private sectors. It includes many subject categories: social science areas such as politics, history, economics, sociology, geography, and urban planning. Natural science areas range from biology, botany, chemistry, geology and geophysics, meteorology, oceanography, and zoology. Such a multidisciplinary approach requires a research plan using a range of library and web resources. You can find materials in the General Collections, Hawaiian-Pacific, Asia and Government Documents collections.
