For 40 years, HELP has prepared students for the challenges of
undergraduate or graduate studies at UH Manoa. The Intensive
Academic Preparation program is designed to improve your Academic
English proficiency and introduce the cultural and academic skills
needed to succeed in an American university. The IAP program
capitalizes on HELP's unique relationship with the University of Hawaii
as the only ESL program offering a conditional admission pathway to
UH Manoa.

o advanced grammar and vocabulary
o reading strategies for authentic college texts
Classes on American academic culture
Oral Presentation Skills
Test Preparation
Library research orientation
Excursions and workshops on the UH campus
Introduction to the American college classroom
and UH-Manoa campus services.

This program runs from 7/23-8/10. Classes will be held Monday through Friday between 8:30am and 1:30pm.
