ETEC 414 EDUCATIONAL MEDIA TECHNOLOGY (3 credits)
Introduction to theories, application of principles, acquisition
of practical skills of educational media relevant to teaching/learning
situation, in classroom as well as non-school settings. Includes
"mainstreaming" components for assisting mildly handicapped learners.
Pre: upper-division standing
ETEC 430 VIDEO TECHNOLOGY (3 credits)
Use of video techniques for purposes of instruction, documentation
and training. Planning, production, simple editing procedures, and
utilization in educational context.
ETEC 442 COMPUTERS IN EDUCATION
(3 credits)
Overview of basic components of computer systems and their application
to instruction and administration. Various operating systems will
be explored.
ETEC 448 LINKS TO LIFELONG LEARNING (3 credits)
Focused exploration of the Internet and its applications to effective
classroom teaching/learning, including finding, evaluating, using,
creating information; design, construction, and posting of Web page.
Integration with copyright law, ergonomics, national and Hawaii
technology standards. (Pre: ETEC 442 or consent).
