Students
While in the Educational Technology Program, students have the
opportunity to use state-of-the-art technology equipment as well
as to participate in a wide range of academic activities.
EdTech students are able to use the department facilities to develop positive hands-on experiences
that may apply to their profession.
Various organizations in the field of
Educational Technology offer students the opportunity to enhance
their education by presenting their studies in conferences and exchanging
their educational experiences with other scholars.
Careers in EdTech: EdTech alumni
have gone on to work as specialists in school, business, governmental
or private environments; as courseware, multimedia or web site developers;
or function within educational or business entities that engage
in employee or client training, whether traditional, or innovative
through some distance education means.
In addition to the department resources, the University of Hawaii
at Manoa provides services such
as libraries, computer labs, curriculum development, housing information,
financial aid, career development, etc.
