Principal Investigators

Curtis P. Ho, Ph.D.

As a Faculty Member for the Educational Technology Department, College of Education, University of Hawaii at Manoa, Dr. Ho specializes in micro-computer, video technology and multimedia design. He has extensive experience in designing instructional programs for all levels of education and in private sectors. Contact Dr. Ho at curtis@hawaii.edu.

Catherine P. Fulford, Ph.D.

As a Faculty Member for the Educational Technology Department, College of Education, University of Hawaii at Manoa, Dr. Fulford has a background in instructional systems, including needs assessment, instructional development, media production and evaluation. She has extensive experience in management of instructional and training systems, with emphasis on text, audio, video and telecommunications media. Contact Dr. Fulford at fulford@hawaii.edu.

Rachel Rivers, M.A.

Rachel Rivers is a recent graduate of the ESL masters program. She has taught both at the University of Hawaii and on the mainland. Rachel currently works as the LEI Aloha grant project Manager in the Department of Educational Technology. She is co-author of the Catalyst grant recently awarded (4.1 million) to the Educational Technology Department by the US Department of Education's Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to use Technology program. Diana Amundsen, B.A.

Ms. Amundsen has experience in secondary education, and research in New Zealand, UK and Japan. She works with the LEI ALoha Project team in matters of evaluation, supervision, operations and budget. Ariana Eichelberger, M.Ed.

Ms. Eichelberger received her Masters in Education from the University of Hawaii. Prior to joining the Lei Aloha project she was a manager at the Honolulu Academy of Arts. Contact Ms. Eichelberger at arianna@hawaii.edu

Leslie Arakaki, BS., M.Ed.

Leslie Arakaki, BS, Med. Ms. Arakaki received her Masters in Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has been with the LEI Aloha Project from 1999 as a Technology Consultant. She has conducted many iMovie 2 and PowerPoint workshops over the past 2 years with College of Education faculty, staff, and students as well as K-12 teachers on Oahu and Maui.
