eTravel is a joint project between Information Technology Services (ITS) and the Financial Management
Office (FMO), specifically the Office of Disbursing and Payroll.
eTravel is a systemwide application for online Travel Requests, Advances, and Reimbursements.
The current phase (Release 1.x) accommodates Travelers who are UH employees in the PeopleSoft
Human Resources system. Release 1.x replaces previous hardcopy FMIS travel forms and
was designed to assist University employees familiar with previous travel paperwork/processes.
Additional phases are planned that will include Workflow (electronic signatures/approvals),
a simpler wizard-type user interface, and accommodating Travelers affiliated with the University
who are not in PeopleSoft, i.e. students and RCUH employees.

phase 1 to date:
