Completing the Loan Process

  1. Login to https://myuh.hawaii.edu external-link icon
    If this is your first time using MyUH Services, click on https://www.hawaii.edu/username/
  2. Click on the "View My Financial Aid Information" link.
    (Please note, the location of the Financial Aid link may not be the same on your page)
  3. Click on "My Overall Financial Aid Status".
  4. Select your aid year. Click "Submit".
  5. Click on the links under "Unsatisfied Requirements" for more information on satisfying this requirement.

    NOTE: Only ONE Direct Loan Entrance Counseling and Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN) for the Subsidized/Unsubsidized student loans are needed at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. If you do not complete the processes with the Federal Direct Program, your loans will not be disbursed. Parents must complete a separate Parent PLUS MPN for the PLUS loan.

  6. Please complete the loan requirements as soon as possible if you have recently been awarded for the CURRENT academic year.   If you are planning to attend the UPCOMING academic year, requirements such as the PLUS application will be available in JUNE. For example, for the 2017-18 year (Fall 2017/Spring 2018), the PLUS application will only be available starting in June 2017 when both the government and our software is ready to process the loans for the 2017-18 year.    Please log in at that time to complete your requirements.
