Mānoa Academic Merit Scholarship

The Mānoa Academic Merit Scholarship is an automatic $2,000 scholarship (per year) for four years of undergraduate study. This scholarship is for first-time, degree-seeking students who enroll the semester after high school graduation. Students must be enrolled in a full-time course load of UH Mānoa credits. This scholarship is applied to a recipient’s tuition costs.

*Scholarship eligibility is determined when an Admissions Application is submitted. A separate scholarship application is not required.

Students who receive a New Warrior Scholarship are ineligible for the Mānoa Academic Merit Scholarship.

Renewal Criteria

Must maintain a 3.0 Mānoa GPA or greater

Must enroll in and earn a minimum of 12 credits at UH Mānoa per Fall and Spring semesters.


International Merit Award Scholarship

The International Merit Award Scholarship is an automatic scholarship awarded to students for each year of undergraduate study.  This scholarship allows students to pay a tuition rate of 150% of the University’s resident tuition rate. This scholarship will not be reflected in one’s MyUH Services Financial Aid Information. But rather, student tuition costs will be adjusted when registering for full-time courses.
