Sisa is
one of the most colorful characters in Jose
Rizal's Noli Me Tangere. As one of the characters in literature, she
became an inspiration and theme for different forms of the arts, such
as poems, paintings, music and drama .
There is an opera in the Philippines
about Sisa. There are stage plays and dramas about her life. In the
same manner, there are many painters and sculptors that create their
art pieces about her.
