ADDITIONAL TUITION INFORMATION AND FEES

Campus-Based Student Fees. All students are subject to campus-based student fees not shown here. See campus websites for fee information.

UH Manoa Outreach College Tuition. The UH Manoa Outreach College follows the Per Credit Hour tuition schedule for the corresponding UH Manoa programs.

UH Manoa Undergraduate Business and Undergraduate/Graduate Architecture Fee. There is a $500/semester professional fee charged to all UH Manoa undergraduate business and undergraduate/graduate architecture students.

UH Manoa Undergraduate Nursing and Dental Hygiene Fee. There is a $1,000/semester professional fee charged to UH Manoa undergraduate nursing students and a $500/semester professional fee charged to UH Manoa undergraduate dental hygiene students enrolled in clinical courses. These fees are charged for no more than six semesters after admission to the program.

UH Manoa Undergraduate Engineering Fee. There is a $500/semester fee charged to UH Manoa undergraduate engineering students of sophomore, junior, or senior standing only.

UH Hilo CCECS Tuition. UH Hilo CCECS follows the Undergraduate and Graduate tuition schedules for UH Hilo.

UH Hilo Undergraduate Nursing Fee. There is a $500/semester professional fee charged to UH Hilo undergraduate nursing students.

UH Community Colleges Undergraduate Nursing and Other Health Programs Fee. There is a professional fee of up to $500/semester charged to UH community college undergraduate nursing and other health program students.

Apprentice and Journey Worker Tuition. Apprentice and Journey Worker Per-Clock-Hour tuition is 0.40 for the academic years 2011-12 and 2012-13 and 0.45 for academic year 2013-14.

NOTES

1 Full-time (FT) tuition applies to students enrolling for 12 or more credits at UHM, UHH, and UHWO. At the Community Colleges, tuition is charged on a per-credit basis for all enrolled credits effective 2001-02. In accordance with University concurrent enrollment policy, students enrolling at multiple institutions/campuses during the same term pay the application rate at each campus. Unless a special tuition schedule applies, regular day tuition applies to any credit course offered throughout the year for which a General Fund appropriation is authorized. Undergraduate resident and nonresident students enrolled in nursing, dental hygiene, business, engineering, and other UHCC health programs also pay a professional fee (see "Additional Tuition Information and Fees" section located above). Undergraduate/Graduate resident and nonresident students enrolled in the architecture program at UHM also pay a professional fee (see "Additional Tuition Information and Fees" section located above).

2 The CBA master’s degrees offered in executive format charge the resident tuition established here plus additional fees delegated to and approved by the President. Revised tuition rates for 2011-12 were approved by the BOR in January 2010.

3 The Graduate Education (EdD) tuition differential is set for academic year 2012-13 and beyond. In the program’s first year, academic year 2011-12, students pay the regular Graduate rate plus a $1,000/semester professional fee approved by the BOR in January 2011. This professional fee applies to academic year 2011-12 only.

4 The Graduate Nursing program and differential tuition rate at UH Hilo was established and approved by the BOR in May 2011, effective Fall 2012.

5 Revised tuition rates from 2007-08 through 2010-11 were approved by the BOR July 2006 as part of UH Hilo’s College of Pharmacy business plan. Tuition for 2011-12 was added April 2010. There was no increase from the prior year, therefore, according to Board policy, no official Board action was required.

6 With appropriate notification, individual UH Community Colleges may elect to charge up to the UHCC High, but not below the UHCC Low.

7 UH Maui College offers four-year degrees. Students enrolled in upper division courses numbered 300 and above within these programs pay this differential rate.
