New I-94 procedure
From April 30, 2013, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will begin implementing a paperless I-94 procedure at U.S. air and sea ports of entry.

TN (Trade NAFTA) Professionals


The TN nonimmigrant classification for professionals under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is available only to citizens of Canada and Mexico and allows for expedited admission of these professionals.
A prospective employee may apply for TN admission at a U.S. port of entry with a letter of support from UH or, as the employer, UH has the option of filing a TN petition on behalf of an eligible employee with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
