UHM GenEd Articulation page
UH SYSTEM: Writing-intensive designations and articulation are handled by boards on each UH campus. Instructors should contact the board on their campus for information. System-transfer students* can transfer writing-intensive ("W" or "WI") credit from any UH campus to UH Mānoa. System-transfer students are required to complete 5 writing-intensive courses to graduate, at least 2 of which must be numbered at the 300- or 400-level.
NON-SYSTEM: External transfer students* have a prorated schedule of requirements. Students may not transfer Focus credits from a non-UH campus to UHM.
External Transfer Student Requirements (effective Fall 2004)
* External Transfer Students enter UHM from a non-UH campus. For example, from a university located on the mainland. System Transfer Students enter UHM from a UH campus. For example, from Kapi'olani Community College.
