CURRENT YEAR March 25-April 8 Taipei/Xi'an As part of a project, Xi'an as a Livable City (2005-2006), 11 graduate students from UH and a faculty travel to Taipei and Xi'an for site visits and research collaboration with colleagues. This is a follow-up seminar of the previous one held in Honolulu on January 2006 with 10 colleagues from Graduate Institute of Building and Planning at National Taiwan University. The project team pursues to address on the critical issues resulting from a rapid urbanization and development in Xi'an, China, and its future path toward a more livable city. |
