Application procedures vary depending on the time of application and the intended doctoral program.

Same Discipline and Continuous Enrollment from Master's to Doctorate
Students apply by submitting the following to the Graduate Records Office. Deadlines are June 15 for fall admission and November 15 for spring admission, some doctoral programs may have earlier deadlines.

• Petition for Admission to a Doctorate in Same Discipline
• Confidential Financial Statement for International Applicants (This form is required of most international applicants. Refer to the form for detailed instructions.)
• East West Center’s “Request for Action” Form (for East West Center grantees only)

Different Discipline or After a Lapse of Enrollment
