| Program
Overview |
| |
|
The wise use and careful stewardship of the ocean require
individuals with multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary advanced
education in the natural and social sciences. The University
of Hawai'i at Mānoa (UHM) offers a graduate certificate
program in ocean policy. The program is designed for current
degree-seeking graduate students and law students at UHM,
as well as community professional practitioners who wish to
complement their existing knowledge and competencies. With
the assistance of an advisory committee, each student will
custom-design a program of study that draws on the various
marine-related courses offered at UHM.
