Overview |

The Public Administration Program at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa (UHM) offers a graduate certificate program in public
administration. The certificate is a year-long program designed
to accommodate individuals at a point in their public service
career where they want to reflect on what they or their agency
are doing, but who are not necessarily interested in pursuing
a master's degree.
The certificate program does not require a practicum, but it is highly recommended. Students may choose public, nonprofit or private organizations as practicum sites. The faculty advisor will work closely with each student to make arrangements for the three-credit practicum. It is usually six to eight weeks in duration and scheduling is flexible.
For more information about the Public Administration Program,
see MA in public administration.
