Dr. Dominic Chow is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Hawaii, Manoa,John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM).

He is the Director of the Hawaii AIDS Clinical Research Program Autonomic Laboratory, and a Co-Investigator of the Hawaii AIDS Clinical Research Program. Other appointments are listed below.

He completed medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn and his Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatric Residency at the Yale Medical School Affiliated Bridgeport Hospital. He subsequently studied Preventive Medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health.

Research Interests

Dr. Chow's research and academic interests include the complications of HIV-1 and antiretroviral therapy on the autonomic nervous system, cardiovascular system, and glucose and fat metabolism.
