Hawaiʻi’s educational leaders have set a goal of having 55% of working-age adults hold a two- or four-year degree by the year 2025. The “55 by 25” goal was set by the Hawaiʻi P-20 Council, the advisory council for Hawaiʻi P-20 Partnerships for Education, a statewide partnership led by the Executive Office on Early Learning, the Hawaiʻi State Department of Education and the University of Hawaiʻi System.
