Installing Internet Explorer 5.5

for PeopleSoft v7.5

1. Download ie5setup. Save this file to your desktop.

2. Double click on the ie5setup (it might also be called ie5setup.exe) icon on your Desktop.

3. Select the option for I accept the agreement then click Next.

4. Select the option for Install Minimal, or customize your browser, then click Next.

5. In the next window, first select a Typical install:

   

6. Then, check the box next to Microsoft Virtual Machine:

   

7. Click Next.

8. At the next window (Download Sites), click Next.

9. Internet Explorer will now be downloaded and installed on your PC. When the install is done, click Finish. Your computer will restart.

When your computer has finished restarting (it may take a while as IE needs to finish installing) you should be ready to use the Peoplesoft system.
