Dear Friends:
This Final Report of the Information Congress 95 contains the results of the Information Congress' half-day forum, which was held on January 15, 1995 at the East West Center.
We are pleased to join with the other co-sponsors of this event in disseminating the results of the types of information needs that private and public users identified as critical to development of Hawaii's "Information Superhighway."
Currently, the State House of Representatives and the State Senate are considering telecommunications reform legislation and soliciting broad participation in the process. We believe that the key to successful participation is knowledge, and timely, effective communication. Your participation in the legislative process is essential to the passage of thoughtful, well-crafted legislation in this area. You really can make a difference.
