Each kit had a value of just under $1,000 and is being treated as one of the Hawaiʻi Schools Digital Media (HSDM) grants for the 2015/16 school year.
According to the organizers of the Digital Media Playground, more than 150 teachers visited the playground on Nov. 4 and participated in all four of the digital media “stations” (Olelo, PBS, Kamehameha Schools, and Hiki No) to learn about the various aspects of digital video production and the HSDM grant program.
