MONDAY
(Nov.17) 		Introduce the GAW theme
Invite a Guest Speaker to talk about his/her explorations in the community and beyond
Enter "Explore the World" Postcard Contest

TUESDAY
(Nov. 18) 		Music Day
Play and/or learn about instruments from different countries. Sing songs that represent different countries
WEDNESDAY
(Nov. 19) 		Wear a Place-Related T-Shirt
Students can explain what their t-shirt relates to. See lesson plan.
Suggested Lesson Plan
THURSDAY
(Nov. 20) 		"Explore the World" Literature Day
Read books that deal with different explorations or explorers. Students can access the WWW for more information. Information can be shared through writings, art, drama, etc.
FRIDAY
(Nov. 21) 		Scavenger Hunt
Suggestions:
    School Wide Scavenger Hunt:
    Students can find different things on campus. Or, classes can be setup up with different explorations for others to investigate. Questions can be written for each exhibit and students can answer them as they explore the exhibits.
