Geography is More Than Maps!

Each presenter shared experiences in developing and implementing units of study that focused on geographic literacy. Connections between geography and other content areas were highlighted. Presenters showed how geographic literacy skills and different forms of assessment tools had a direct impact on their students’ learning and understanding of place, necessary to critical literacy.
