H.O.T.S. (Hands On Teaching Strategies) was written by teachers in Hawaii and edited by Bryce Decker, PhD. (Co-coordinator of the Hawaii Geographic Alliance at the time) in 1994, just before the geography standards were completed. After revisiting the lessons, we decided to post them online for others to use. The lessons have been kept intact. We invite you to use the ideas to write your own geography standards-driven lessons.
