KNOW YOUR EARTH

We share one great sun
We all breathe clean fresh
air
We all need clear water to
survive
Know your earth, know it
well
Teach the children of the
world so they can tell
about the sun above the
ocean
every creature great and
small
Know your earth, know it
well.
There are changes all around
us
depletion of our animals and
trees
Landfills by the thousands
diverted rivers change our
destiny
Know your earth, know it
well
Teach the children of the
world so they can tell
about the trees of the
forest
for mountains that stand
tall
Know your earth, know it
well.
Before the sun sets, over
the horizon
Let’s teach the little
children how to care
for only they can make a
difference
to know their earth and know
it well.
Know your earth, know it
well
Teach the children of the
world so they can tell
about the lakes, rivers, and
valleys
for the deserts, hills, and
plains
Know your earth, know it
well.
About the trees of the
forest
the mountains that stand
tall
Know your earth, know it
well.
About the sun above the
ocean
every creature great and
small
Know your earth, know it
well.
