Precious is the water the
flows from mountain streams
cherished is the rain that
keeps our forests green
Precious is the water above
that helps us endure
that quenches our thirst and
keeps our bodies pure
Every flower and every tree,
(and) every living thing
including you and me
need clean water to survive
we can lend a helping hand
and conserve his precious
resource of our land
Treasured water…Pulama
I Ka Wai
Precious is the water that
quenches every farm and field
every crop and food source

precious is the water that
fills our lakes and seas
gives us life, strength and
serenity
Every plant (flower) and
every tree
(and) ever living thing
including you and me
need clean water to survive
we can lend a helping hand
and conserve this precious
resource of our land

SPOKEN VERSE…
OIL SPILLS, TOXIC WASTES
KILL OUR OCEANS
PESTICIDES CONTAMINATE OUR
GROUND WATE SUPPLY
EVAPORATION, CONDENSATION,
BECOMES ACID RAIN
POLLUTES OUR CITIES, TOWNS
AND DESTROYS OUR COUNTRYSIDES
Precious is the water we
conserve day to day
if we water our lawns, use
what we need that’s the only way
precious is the water we use
to bathe and clean
conserve our resource and
use just what we need
Every flower and every tree
every living thing including
you and me
need clean water to survive
We can lend a helping hand
and conserve this precious
resource of this land
Treasure water… Pulama
I Ka Wai
We can lend a helping hand
and conserve this precious
resource of our land
Treasured water, Pulama I Ka
Wai (4 times repeat last line)
