Birds upon the winds, fish that swim the ocean, drift in a current of water and air.

Trees of the forest, dust in the desert, are symbols of a difference in a world of which we share.

Like the animals of day, creatures of the night, lay still or play in darkness and celebrate the light.

Chorus:

Exploring, discovering the Earth from which we live,

Seeking old worlds finding new ways from out as we look on in.

Exploring a world of habitats, so wild and yet so tame

Seeing a world of difference in a world so much the same.

The air of which we breathe, to the water we all need.  Death into the soil springs life from a seed.  The warmth of the sun to the wintry Arctic cold, are symbols of a difference of a world we strongly hold.  Coastal plains and hidden valleys, peaks majestic and tall reveal a special story through millions of springtimes and falls.

Chorus:

Exploring, discovering the Earth from which we live,

Seeking old worlds finding new ways from out as we look on in.

Exploring a world of habitats, so wild and yet so tame

Seeing a world of difference in a world so much the same.

There’s so much to learn about the world from which we live, a place of great diversity.  Changing, ever so new. World’s within a world made especially for me and you.

Spoken verse:

There is so much to learn, about this world from which we live.

Every day is filled with new and exciting events.

In the lives of people and places, the largest mountains to the tiniest of organisms.

Birds fly across the sky, fish swim in lakes, streams and seas.

But, do you know in air, on land, or in water,

There are worlds within worlds our naked eyes cannot see?

As we live from day to day, we explore and discover

That our world is one of great diversity.

Constantly changing ever so new, ever so new, ever so new, ever so new, ever so new.

Chorus:

Exploring, discovering the Earth from which we live,

Seeking old worlds finding new ways from out as we look on in.

Exploring a world of habitats, so wild and yet so tame

Seeing a world of difference in a world so much the same.

Seeing a world of difference in a world so much the same.
