River Bingo Directions
Reinforce the River words by playing River Bingo. Prior to playing the game, make a copy of the glossary on cardstock paper. Cut into strips. Each strip should include the word and its definition. Create a blank Bingo card. Run off for each student. Make copies of the words. Have students randomly choose words from the sheet and write them on the Bingo card. Follow the rules of Bingo or have students formulate their own rules. To play the game, randomly pick up a strip and read the definition. The students will have to guess what the word is. If they have the word on their card, they can mark it. Have students find pictures to go with the words. This is a good game to use with the "ABC River/Stream Book."
