Mission Geography Mission Geography is curriculum support materials that link the content, skills, and perspectives of Geography for Life: The National Geography Standards with the missions, research, and science of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

The Geo-Images ProjectThe Geo-Images Project attempts to make images (mostly photographs) that are useful in teaching geography more widely available using computers and the internet.

ABOUT.COM This site has many links to other sites. Some of the topics are agriculture, cartography, census data, climate, GIS, historical maps, teaching geography, world population. There is also a weekly geography quiz.

Helping Your Child Learn Geography The entire book is printed. Activities are written for ages 5 - 10 years old.

Geography in the News Neal Lineback writes "Geography in the News." There is usually a map that accompanies the article.

E.A.R.T.H. Sue Arsiga has been conducting geography lessons for grades 4-6. She is part of the Department of Education's TeleSchool. Take a look at her lesson plans for E.A.R.T.H.

Alternative Geography Assessment Items - Illinois provides teachers with 54 alternative assessment items that can be copied and used to measure student knowledge of important physical and human geography concepts and principles.
