Moku o Lo‘e: The Best Kept Secret in Kāne‘ohe BayHawai‘i Institute of Marine Biology’s famous Moku o Lo‘e (Coconut Island): The Best Kept Secret in Kāne‘ohe Bay continuing education course will be offered again this fall. Registration is now open for the hands-on science class that explores the research occurring in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. The class is designed for anyone, even if you have never done science before. Held on beautiful Moku o Lo‘e (Coconut Island) meet some of our world-renowned researchers and participate in labs that use real research techniques being conducted in one of the world’s largest marine protected areas, Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument. The course runs for five weeks beginning Tuesday September 20th, and goes every Tuesday from 9 am till Noon.
