  • MEDLINE to identify the peer reviewed journal literature.  Consider adding subheading epidemiology and/or mortality to your subject search.  Also combining your subject using the Boolean "AND" operator with the medical subject heading epidemiologic study characteristics is useful for identifying different kinds of epidemiologic studies.
