The mission of the Hawai'i AIDS Education and Training Center and AIDS Education Project is to provide excellent research, education and training on prevention and care in Hawai'i and in the Asian Pacific Region. Trainings include: one-hour didactic presentations on specific topics such as HIV treatment updates; full-day seminars for HIV case managers; and intensive HIV nursing skill-building programs. The Hawai'i AIDS Education and Training Center and AIDS Education Project is funded at least in part by DHHS Award No. 5H4A00016-02 with the Pacific AIDS Education and Training Center and by STD/AIDS Prevention Branch, Hawai'i State Department of Health.
