Coordinates with other government agencies and with HIV related community based organizations in the establishment of a statewide system to provide HIV/STD prevention education to at-risk populations, including men who have sex with men, women, youth, members of ethnic and cultural groups, individuals with disabilities, institutionalized populations and others

Provides technical assistance to agencies or organizations interested in developing HIV/AIDS protocols, programs, or policies

Circulates educational materials (pamphlets, posters, videos) and condom statewide at no cost.

Educational materials are also available in languages other than English.

Provides education to the general public to reduce unreasonable fear or denial regarding HIV and STDs. Public lectures are provided to community groups, workplace settings, colleges, churches and other interested parties
