What is the Male HPV Study? |

The HPV study, funded by the National Institutes of Health involves studying HPV infection among men in Hawaii. The study is being conducted by the UH Cancer Research Center at the University Health Services. The study is conducted to learn more about the occurrence and course of HPV infection in men, to examine the factors associated with HPV infection in men, and to better understand the factors influencing transmission of HPV between men and women. |

Who is eligible to participate in the Male HPV Study? |

Males who are at least 18 years of age and residing on Oahu for the next year are eligible. Enrollment is now closed. We are conducting data analysis only. |

What does this study involve? |
| |
You will be asked to come for visits every 2-6 months for up to 4 years. Each visit will include a collection of specimens for HPV testing, as well as blood and other samples. You will also be asked questions about your diet, health and lifestyle activities. |

What will a participant receive from the Male HPV Study? |
| |
You will receive free HPV testing and results, a free diet analysis and $50.00 per visit for your time and transportation costs. The study will not provide or pay for any treatment. |
