"High Tech Hawai'i" looks at Online Education

The October 27 High Tech Hawaii show will highlight the first online graduate certificate program in Telecommunication Information Resource Management (TIRM). This program is a professional, web-based (asynchronous) telecommunicatio and new media education and training program that is designed to address mounting global life-long learning needs in the emerging information society.
Dan Wedemeyer, program director, will join guest host Phil Bossert to discuss the reasons for delivering this program entirely online, lessons learned and ideas for the future. Students from the program will also be calling in with their student perspectives. As always, live questions and comments are welcomed from viewers.
