Overview
The WAC+
Summer Institute is for college teachers in all programs and subject areas.
The WAC+
Summer Institute will assist participants in
• Using
writing as a tool for thinking and learning
• Preparing
to teach a writing intensive course
• Gaining
confidence and practice in their own personal writing
• Exploring
effective approaches to teaching and learning
Participants
will learn about WAC techniques through
• Peer
Collaboration
• Writing
Groups
• Peer
and Staff Presentations

NOTE: Participants are encouraged to also sign up
for the WAC+ Assessment Institute, June 2-5 2008 at Kapi`olani Community College.

for this Program
KCC faculty will receive a stipend of $200. Faculty from
other campuses will need to make arrangements with their own campus
administration.
