2009 Summer Invitational Writing Institute
Oahu and Molokai - June 12th through July 2nd 2009
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday
A few follow-up sessions will be scheduled during the 2009-2010 school year
Location: TBA depending on participants

2009 Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Institute +
The WAC + Summer Institute is for college teachers in all programs and subject areas.
Time and Place
May 18-29, 2009
8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
Kapi`olani Community College
Co-Facilitators: Shel Hershinow and Leigh Dooley
KCC faculty will receive a stipend of $200. Faculty from other campuses will need to make arrangements with their own campus administration.

2009 Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Assessment Institute
For college teachers in all programs and subject areas who place a high value on student learning through writing and thinking activities.
Time and Place
June 1-4, 2009 at Kapi`olani Community College
8:30-3:00 Daily
* Prerequisite: This institute is intended for teachers familiar with basic writing across the curriculum techniques. Attendance at the May 18-29 WAC + Summer Institute or a similar one is highly recommended.
