Wireless network "hot spots" provide a convenient way for you to access e-mail and the Web. Available from selected areas of the Manoa campus since 2001, the "footprint" or the distribution of locations where wireless access is available on the Manoa campus has grown significantly in the past year. In addition to popular common areas such as the Campus Center, Paradise Palms and Hamilton Library, many buildings now feature some degree of wireless network access. The Wireless Network home page, at www.hawaii.edu/wireless, features maps detailing Manoa's growing wireless network "footprint", and provides links to help you get started.
Many UH campuses are also offering wireless network capabilities, check with the IT departments on individual campuses for availability.
