Immigrant physician Khoi Le

AA in liberal arts ’97; BS ’99, MD ’04 Mānoa
Determined to become a doctor, Vietnam-born Khoi Le had to master English as a second language before he could pursue his dream. He found help, and his wife, at Honolulu Community College, studied at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s John A. Burns School of Medicine and is now a Portland, Ore, physician.
