• not staring; staring is

Listening is:

• focusing on what is being said and not on your reply.
• eyes focused, ears attuned, and lips sealed.
• getting out of the way long enough to hear someone else speak.

Feedback is:

• an experience of someone expressed in words.
• not advice, assessment, or criticism.
• not right or wrong, good or bad.
