Incomplete Application Packets

January 13, 2013

Due to the significantly increasing volume of IRB applications, we will no longer hold incomplete application packets. Please make sure that you have all of the required documents, especially training completion reports (i.e., UH CITI), before submitting electronic applications to uhirb@hawaii.edu and hard copies to the Human Studies Program office.

Any incomplete applications will be discarded and PIs must resubmit the entire application.

Training Required for Exempt Studies

Effective January 15, 2013, training will be required for researchers doing exempt studies.

CITI Training instructions revised (Nov. 8, 2012)

CITI Training modules have been revised as of November 8, 2012 per IRB requirements.
