Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified with certain networked HP inkjet printers which could allow for remote code execution.
Refer to the list at https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06097712 to check if your HP inkjet printer is affected by this vulnerability.
For affected printers, HP recommends updating the firmware by going to the HP Software and Drivers page at https://support.hp.com/redirect/hub/s-002. ITS also recommends securing any network printer or multi-function device by changing the default administrator password and using IP filtering when possible.
