The University of Hawai‘i is proud to host the AT&T Mobile App Hackathon Contest! This event is designed for UH students (technical & non-technical) to build mobile apps that run on either Android or iOS devices, get fed, compete for prizes across different categories and most importantly: meet new people and scout for teammates to work on new or current projects. This is a great opportunity for computer programmers, graphic designers, and business developers to work together and build a unique mobile app!
The event begins on Thursday, March 27, 2014 and runs through Saturday, March 29, 2014. It will be held at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa Information Technology Center, First Floor, Room 105 A/B. This event is open to all students of the University of Hawai‘i campuses.
Bring your team of five (5) members to the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, Information Technology Center, First Floor, Room 105 A/B to design and build an Android or iOS app, and compete against other teams to win great prizes, including a unique opportunities to network over lunch with successful entrepreneurs and other monetary awards. There's even FREE FOOD! If you don't have a team, don't worry! You can join a team at the event.
On the last day of the event, teams will have five (5) minutes to present their finished app to a panel of distinguished judges. No PowerPoint or Keynote presentations.
